Tottenham reinforced their Premier League title credentials with an impressive 4-1 win over Liverpool that well and truly lifted talk of a Wembley hoodoo.

But while it was a fine display from Spurs it owed much to dreadful defending from the visitors that will see questions asked, yet again, about Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Harry Kane opened the scoring and then turned provider for Hueng-Min Son as Spurs rushed into a two goal lead. When the impressive Móhamed Salah pulled one back the match threatened to become a classic. But on the stroke of half-time Dele Alli volleyed the ball into the net and from that point it felt like Tottenham would come out on top. A second from Kane, taken after a flap from Simon Mignolet, wrapped it up.
