As spotted in Zimbabwe, family of late Tawanda MaPecca Moyo placed his coffin in front of his killer’s shop in Bulawayo. This was done to express their grievance. The 43-year-old man was a former member of Siyaya Arts group and was reportedly shot dead by a businessman, Mr Oricious Moyo when he allegedly confronted him while he caught with MaPecca’s wife, Jaqueline Chesigelenasos Moyo, in a car on Tuesday, July 25. Chronicle.co.zw further reported that Moyo closed his Fish and Chicken City outlet when he received a tip off that MaPecca’s family was planning to conduct a ritual at his business premises. MaPecca’s relative placed it at the front of Oricious’ outlet. They said it was part of ‘rituals’ to ensure justice prevails before proceeding to Lady Stanley cemetery for final burial.
However, the late artiste was left with a bullet lodged in his spine following the shooting incident. MaPecca was immediately admitted at Mpilo Central Hospital and went through a surgery before he died on Tuesday, August 29.
