Heartbreaking is a word that could be considered to be overused these days. But in this picture, it is the only word we can think of.
It shows a young boy who was diagnosed with cancer and then abandoned by his mother.

Hu Haoyang was abandoned by his mother in November 2016 along with 200,000 yuan (£22,500) that was meant to be used for his care.
He was diagnosed six months earlier with hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer that occurs in some babies and young children.
That was treated after several rounds of chemotherapy, but his cancer has returned and now needs a transplant.

Haoyang is now at Bayi Children’s Hospital in beijing, China, where he is watched over by his grandmother.
His fathter, Hu Xiaofei, managed to get hold of his wife to ask for the money to be returned so that the boy from Zhenghi town in Yicheng city could be treated. But only when she was told that the police could become involved.

She did eventually return the money for his treatment, but it is only a fraction of the cost of the treatment.
They have borrowed 1,000,000 yuan (£113,000) from loan sharks and with his father working as a farmer, it is not enough.
