Arjen Robben and Jerome Boateng are both injured and ruled out of Bayern Munich squad to face Real Madrid at Bernabeu in Champions League semi-final 2nd leg
Bayern Munich suffered two injuries in the first half against Real Madrid in the first leg, and Jerome Boateng has since been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
However, Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes mentioned that Boateng can still play at World Cup as he will be able to train before the competition starts.
"I see absolutely no danger for the World Cup," Heynckes said in a press conference. "Jerome will of course — as I and our doctor, Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt, understand it — be at the World Cup, and will be able to train before it too."
While for Arjen Robben, he trained alone on Sunday but now is completely out of Bayern's squad to face Real Madrid.
Robben limped out of the first leg after eight minutes and was not in Bayern's much-changed squad for Saturday's Bundesliga win over Eintracht Frankfurt
