Jose Mourinho hit back at the criticism he has received in recent weeks moments after Manchester United‘s 1-0 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were hit with a wave of criticism following a goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield, with Mourinho taking most of the flack for his defensive tactics versus Jurgen Klopp’s men.
United responded in style against Spurs as substitute Anthony Martial secured three points for the home team in the 81st minute in a breathless second-half.
Immediately after the win, Sky Sports’ cameras panned across the pitch to show Mourinho shushing directly down the lens – forcing Pochettino to wait for his handshake.
The look on Mauricio Pochettino’s face was a picture before he went in to congratulate his rival on the victory.
